The game's creator worked on it over the course of a few days, employing a bird protagonist he had built for a 2012 game that was never released. Flappy Bird is created with an arcade style. Your mission is to control the bird Faby. This bird moves persistently to the right. Faby must be controlled between pairs of pipes with uniformly sized gaps at random heights. Only when the player presses the touchscreen does Faby instantly climb. The player receives one point for each successful pass through a pair of pipes. The game finishes when you hit a pipe or the ground.
