FNF Vs. Tricky v3: Clowned Out puts Boyfriend into a chaotic rap battle with Tricky, the famous clown from Madness Combat. This time, Tricky returns in new forms and with more challenging songs.
Boyfriend and Girlfriend arrive in Nevada dressed in Madness Combat-inspired costumes. Soon after, they encounter Tricky. The battle begins with familiar songs, but things quickly become more difficult.
Tricky transforms with each level. He becomes increasingly terrifying. The effects also become more numerous. You must keep the rhythm while paying attention to what's happening on screen.
CLOWN is the main part of the game, featuring the first three songs.
Imrobable Outset is the opening level. Tricky, still wearing his mask, begins his challenge against Boyfriend.
Madness is faster and harder. Tricky removes his mask, and the stage becomes chaotic with numerous signs.
Hellclown is a very special level. Tricky transforms into a giant monster with a flaming skull. Boyfriend becomes incredibly small at this point.
Expurgation is the final level and one of the most difficult challenges. This level has special notes that can cause you to lose instantly.
There is also Assault in Freeplay. You can also unlock the secret song Tiky by typing TIKY in the Freeplay menu.
Hellclown has red arrows that look like fire. Don't click on them. If you click the wrong one, you will lose a lot of health.
Expurgation is even harder. Death Note can end the song the moment you touch it. So, look carefully at the notes before clicking.
Some signs also appear in the level. When a sign flashes, wait for the right moment and press Space to dodge.
At times, a small creature will appear and drain your health bar. So, don't let your health bar get too low.
If Expurgation is too difficult, you can go to Preferences to change some options and reduce the penalty.
Controls are quite simple:
Arrows or WASD to press notes.
Space to dodge signs.
Enter to select.
Escape to go back.
On phones and tablets, just tap the notes. When dodging, tap Girlfriend.
Keep your eyes on the screen and keep time with the rhythm. The later sections are faster, so you need to react quickly.
