You must assist the ball in moving as far as possible. Points accrue in proportion to the length of the obstacle you overcome. Your task is to direct the ball left and right so that it precisely hits each column as it moves forward along the hills. Crystals that grant you additional points must be collected along the way. Additionally, there may be thorns on the columns that you should avoid. Simply leap to the opposite finish of the segment and the thistle will be abandoned.
